If you're not eligible for a trial, you're charged when you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically each period until cancelled. Prices in USD; your local App Store shows the price in your currency. You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account's subscription settings.

Your free recordings, with their transcripts, summaries and action items, stay in your account. To make more recordings, upgrade to Premium. Deleting a free recording doesn't free up a slot.
Not when you start a free trial. If you're eligible for the 7-day free trial, your Apple Account is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. If you're not eligible for a trial, you're charged when you subscribe. Your subscription then renews automatically ($5.99 per month or $59.99 per year in the US) until you cancel.

  2. Click your name at the top of the screen
  3. Go to "Subscriptions"
  4. Go to "Voicerec"
  5. Click "Cancel Subscription"

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so Apple handles refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, choose "Request a refund" and follow the steps.
Yes. Voicerec runs on iPhone (iOS 16 or later) and Mac (macOS 14.4 or later). It's a Universal Purchase, so one subscription covers both when you use the same Apple Account. Sign in to the same Voicerec account on both to keep your recordings together; the 3 free recordings are per account.
No. People you share a link with can listen to the recording and read its transcript in their web browser, without the app or an account.
Voicerec transcribes nearly 100 languages, about 60 of them with speaker labels. Pick your transcription language in the app's settings, or let Voicerec detect it automatically.
Yes, on your free recordings. On the free plan you can ask questions about your free recordings, use any summary template on them, name speakers and see the people you've recorded with. Yes. To keep the service running smoothly for everyone, fair-use limits apply on every plan: Ask has hourly, daily and monthly limits, and catch-up briefs and template changes have daily limits. If you reach one, try again later.
Yes. Transcripts, summaries and action items you already have stay readable. Asking questions about recordings you made with Premium, changing their summary template and getting catch-up briefs need an active subscription.
